Advent
Sunday 10:30am
Welcome to our Advent series, Unwrapping Christmas! Over the next four weeks, we will embark on a journey to uncover the deeper meaning of this season—a meaning often hidden beneath the surface of traditions, shopping lists, and holiday busyness. Advent is a time of anticipation and reflection, inviting us to unwrap the most extraordinary gift ever given: Jesus Christ.
Christmas can feel like a beautifully wrapped package with glittering paper and a perfect bow, but have you ever opened it and truly explored what's inside? Beyond the festive lights and celebrations lies the heart of God's incredible story, so lets unwrap and discover not just the story of a baby in a manger, but the life-changing truth of what that birth means for us today.
This Advent season, let’s slow down together, open our Bibles, and peel back the layers to reveal the Saviour who came to dwell among us. Whether you’ve walked with Jesus for years or are just beginning to explore who He is, this series is for you. Let’s rediscover the gift that truly changes everything.
Please note that there is no morning service on Sunday 15th December.

Tree festival
7th Dec 10am - 4 pm
We are overjoyed to partner with Mill Road Winter Fair once again as we carry on the tradition of our beloved Tree Festival! This celebration has become a cherished part of the season, bringing creativity, community, and festive spirit together under one roof.
The theme for this year is the heartwarming tale of "The Grinch That Saved Christmas." wether its the timeless message of transformation, kindness, and the true meaning of the season, whimsy of Whoville, the mischief of the Grinch, or the joyful togetherness of the Whos, we hope you have fun exploring. Tea and Coffee will be available at Mollys and rumour has it that a special guest in Red might be making an appearance or two!
The beautifully decorated trees will be proudly displayed at Zion Baptist Church on Saturday, December 7th, and will remain up throughout the Christmas season for all to enjoy. This free, family-friendly event is designed to foster joy, connection, and holiday cheer for everyone in our community, making it a highlight of the festive period.
We hope you’ll join us in making this year’s Tree Festival a celebration to remember, uniting creativity, community, and the enduring magic of Christmas.

Carols & Christingles
15 Dec 6pm
We are excited to invite you to Carols and Christingle—an evening designed for the whole family to experience the joy and wonder of the Christmas season.
This is a time to celebrate the heart of Christmas through the warmth of carols and the creativity of the Christingle. The Christingle, with its orange, candle, and decorations, is more than just a fun craft; it’s a simple yet powerful way to remind us of God’s love for the world. As we put them together, we’ll learn what each part means and how the story of Jesus brings light into our lives and the world.
But it isn’t just about the message—it’s about connection. We’ll sing some of your favourite carols (and maybe even learn a new one!), enjoy the glow of candles, and take a moment to pause and reflect on what makes Christmas truly special. There’s something so magical about voices joining together, young and old, lifting songs of joy and hope.
So, warm up your vocal cords, and settle in for an evening of fun and celebration. Don’t worry, we got the oranges and sweets!
We hope you leave with a smile on your face, a song in your heart, and a little more light in your life.
Please note that there is no morning service on Sunday 15th December.

Christmas Services.
Christmas is a season of celebration and wonder, but it is also a sacred time—a moment to pause, reflect, and be drawn deeper into the story of God’s love for the world. We are thrilled to invite you to two very special services where we will do just that.
Midnight Service 24th Dec 11:30pm.
As the world slows and the clock ticks toward Christmas Day, we gather in the stillness of the night to welcome the birth of Jesus. Midnight Communion is a time to step away from the hustle and let the peace of God fill our hearts. We will reflect on the profound mystery of Emmanuel—God with us.
Through Scripture, carols, and the sharing of communion, we will celebrate the incredible truth that the Creator of the universe stepped into our world as a baby. It’s a moment of awe and intimacy, a time to reset our focus on what truly matters. Whether you come seeking quiet reflection or a renewed sense of wonder, this service is for you.
Christmas Day Service. 25th Dec 10:30 am
Join us for a joyful celebration of the greatest gift of all: Jesus Christ! Our Christmas Day service is full of life, laughter, and worship as we come together as a church family to celebrate His birth.
This is a service for all ages, where children are encouraged to bring along their favourite new toy, and everyone is invited to join in the carols and festive spirit. But beyond the fun, we’ll take a moment to remember that Christmas isn’t just a story of a baby born in a manger—it’s the story of a Saviour who brings hope, peace, and purpose to our lives today.
Whether you’re joining us at the quiet of midnight or the joy of Christmas morning (or both!), we can’t wait to celebrate with you. These services are a reminder that the true meaning of Christmas is not found in the chaos or even the traditions but in the unchanging love of God.
Come and discover—or rediscover—the heart of Christmas with us. You are so welcome here.
